Ruy is a Czech-Japanese director with a strong passion for emotional storytelling and the audiovisual art form. From a young age, he devoted himself to dancing and acting, which led him to study theatre directing. At the age of nineteen, he directed his first theatre performance abroad at the Fringe theatre festival in Edinburgh. Since then he went on to study film directing and has directed several short films, music videos and commercials. Regardless of the format, Ruy's storytelling style is defined by the need to explore human emotions and relationships.
